If there is a live animal in the snare call the relevant animal welfare charity. We do not advise trying to release an animal yourself as the animal could be injured and require medical attention. Record the incident using our Snarewatch report form.

Watch Bill Oddie in Snares Uncovered

Three snares were found on separate occasions in the village of Clayworth.

The first was found around a cats neck, (the cat was uninjured), the second was thought to have been dragged into the village by an animal and the third was found in a garden. The one in the garden was thought to have been dragged there by either a pet cat or wild rabbit.
